101 runners at Silvas Lucia event

Silva and Running Sweden arranged Running Lucia in Stockholm yesterday. 101 runners showed up to work out and celebrate Lucia in a different way. With candles in their hair, or at least headlamp, spread the light and energy to all the people along the way.

-Silva wants to show that winter and darkness does not mean that you have to stop training outdoors. With a good headlamp, you can keep on running even on tracks that are not illuminated. We hope that the participants will find new and old friends and be inspired to continue for the rest of the dark season, said Peter Hemmyr sales manager Silva.

The mood was on top when the rain soaked runners with red cheeks and tired legs arrived to Bodys In Motion's premises after the run. There they was served traditional swedish Lucia cakes and energy supplements.

All participants was given a ticet to a Silva lottery and hade the chans to win one of five Trailrunner Plus. Hanna Lundberg, PR & Communication at Silva, was handing out the lamps to the lucky winners.
