We have a winner in the Silva Sprint challenge!
We are happy to announce the winner in our Facebook challenge. The motivation that really touched us were the words from Emmanuel Hanley from France. Emmanuel went to Haiti over the christmas holidays to help over 150 people during the Cholera outbreak, using a Silva headlamp. Now Emmanuel will get our new Sprint headlamp for his future trips for helping people. Congratulations Emmanuel, you are a hero!

Here is Emmanuel´s motivation:
The first SILVA headlamp I bought went with me to Haïti, Port-au-prince to help out over the christmas holidays in one of the biggest cholera clinics, right by Cité Soleil. Thanks to that lamp I was able to save over 150 people as each IV set, one life was saved from Cholera! That lamp spent 10x 13hours on my forehead or around my neck . Often that bright light was what inable me to see the smile of joy of my patients who knew that thanks to the help of the black and white SILVA lamp they were going to be ok. Sadly that lamp got lost as my luggage was in JFK airport. It actually had a huge sentimental value to me as along with my stethoscope it was my companion for those 10 shifts over chirstmas. I spent my new year with that lamp around my neck as well!
So here it comes! I'm going back to Haïti in August, as the Cholera outbreak is expected to happen again caused by the rain season there. And I need a new lamp, one that can stand out from the others for being robust, capable to survive, dust, rain, bleaching after bleaching after bleaching and being able to be used with latex gloves and be confortable enough to spend 13hrs straight with it on your forehead!
You want proof of my words, check out my profil picture!
Thanks SILVA and thats not just from me but from 100s of Haitians too!
We at Silva wishes you all luck with your future adventures!
