You have the overall responsibility for the brand, portfolio and marketing plan and are a key member of the Marketing community.

Three entreprenurial brothers. One great invention. In 1933, Björn, Alvar och Arvid Kjellström invented the first ever liquid-filled compass, and our story began. Not only was it the first compass of its kind, but it also set the global standard for how navigation works. The SILVA brand was born. A few years later, in 1935, we expanded our business with our new invention, and first headlamp, Zeiler.

Since 1933, our goal has been to develop outstanding outdoor equipment and to always keep moving forward. We are driven by the desire to make new discoveries and by the joy of continous progress. Curiosity is our primary asset; in product development as well as during the adventures our products take us on. With our true passion for outdoor activities, we want to inspire and motivate more people to start or keep on discovering. We know it’s worth it.

Today, we focus on three main user areas: Sport, Adventure and Work. Each one of these areas are constantly evaluated and updated, for you to enjoy high quality products and always feel prepared and ready with SILVA.
