I was blown away by my Alpha running and mountain biking in the UK but taking it to the Canadian Arctic for the 6633 Ultra was a whole new test for it. However it coped with the -35C conditions without as much as a stutter and showed no noticeable drop in either brightness or burn time. There's no doubt that it aided me considerably in winning the 120-mile race and setting a new course record. All in all, probably the best headlamp in the world!
